Depends on the model. Model 2.2 is protective mask compliant to EN 14683. Model 3 FFP2 is certified as Category III reusable PPE under EN 149:2001+A1:2009, certified by ITEC Srl (NB 2761). Neither model is both. Specify based on the actual exposure requirement, not brand preference.

Model 2.2 is a lighter version: tested for Bacterial Filtration Efficiency of 99.89 percent in to out (UNI EN 14683:2019), Particle Filtration Efficiency of 99.3 percent at 0.1 micron (ASTM F2299/F2299M). Model 3 is the certified PPE version: EN 149:2001+A1:2009, FFP2 rated, with a melt blown inner filter handwashable up to 20 times at 40°C. Model 3 is the one to specify wherever certified PPE is a compliance requirement, not a preference: public transport, regulated facilities, client sites with their own standards.

Model 2.2's filter is rated for 200 hours of continuous use, and that rating is tested, not estimated. After 200 hours of in vivo use, BFE held at 99.89 percent, breathability measured 43.4 Pa/cm², and the splash test still passed (UNI EN 14683:2019). Model 3's inner filter is reusable through 20 handwashes at up to 40°C.
